Nelson DHB Hand Therapist

About the role
We have a permanent part-time position available for either a registered hand therapist, an associate member hand therapist, or a physiotherapist with a commitment to upskill in hand therapy to a level of becoming a registered hand therapist. This role could be worked as up to 0.5FTE, (40 hours a fortnight, or part thereof), as part of a multi-disciplinary team. It would be helpful if you could indicate your preferred FTE, or hours per fortnight, in your covering letter.

You will be a NZ Registered Physiotherapist with advanced comprehensive clinical assessment and problem solving skills with the experience and ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively. You will have excellent communication skills to liaise with health professionals both within the in-patient services and in the community, and you will be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs.
